Guide
Essential, henley, cropped, or long-line hoodie?
A hoodie looks simple, but the cut changes everything: how it layers under a jacket, how it sits at the waist, and how dressed-up it can look.
Essential pullover
The classic pullover hoodie at hip length. Our essential hoodies list a regular fit and 80% cotton, 20% polyester. It layers easily under a bomber or a trucker jacket.
Button henley hoodie
A pullover with a short button placket at the neck, so it looks a little sharper than a plain hoodie. Ours are cut in a tailored fit, closer to the chest and waist with slimmer arms.
Cropped, pronounced-shoulder hoodie
A shorter, boxy hoodie with dropped shoulders. It sits at or just above the waist and pairs best with straight or relaxed trousers. Choose your usual size; the boxy shape is designed in.
Long-line hoodie
Longer than an essential hoodie, falling below the hip. It suits taller builds and slim trousers, and looks best on its own rather than under a short jacket.
Care for cotton-blend hoodies
Turn the hoodie inside out, wash cold, and dry flat or on low heat to limit shrinking and pilling. Always follow the label on the garment.
Common questions
Which hoodie fits under a jacket?
An essential pullover in a regular fit layers best under a bomber, trucker, or field jacket. Long-line hoodies can show below a short jacket.
